
Notary Records for Pinachia (Pinasca)
Currently known as Pinasca, historic Pinachia is in the Chisone Valley between Villa Perosa and Perosa Argentina. It covers 13.4 square miles and has a population of 2,980.
Waldensian pastors met here following the Piedmont Easter massacre in 1655 to decide on a course of action. Resistance fighter, Joshua Janavel, was taken to Pinasca to recover from his wounds.
