However, you are encouraged to use the actual abstracts of the notary records—or else microfilms of the actual notary records themselves--rather than relying solely on the family summaries featured in the newsletter.
We reserve the right to update or correct any part of an article that future research shows to have been incorrect. (Notaries did make occasional errors—and so do researchers, past and present. And although we have abstracts to date from over 300 volumes of notary records, almost all of them pre-dating the surviving parish registers, the project continues with many more volumes yet to abstract.)
